Diary ~ Tennessee in Spring, # 9 - The Flooded Road

April, 2006

April 16, 2006

The rain has been pouring of late, and the road that goes up the hill past the barn is completely flooded; a beautiful waterfall formed over the cement bridge, so I decided to have Clover model in the river. The sun came out for a little while this morning, so we ran outside and started shooting. The photos follow below.

He couldn't stay in the stream for very long - it was so cold, and the rain started to fall again. The pictures below are of the run back up to the house.

Here he is at the end of our short and rushed photo shoot, taking a break on the balcony. This is pretty much how we spend every day here - with the weather so rainy, I spent the rest of my day painting and drawing in the house, while Clover played his cello and wrote in his journal, interupted occasionally by bouts of tender words and sweet caresses. More photo shoots with Clove will be posted soon.
