Giacomo is another friend of Marcelito's from Italy; he is here as an art student at one of the great local art schools, and I think he is very good, although his work is completely different from mine (he does a lot of performance art and video). Anyway, I met him at one of his performances that Marcelito had invited me to last summer, and we hit it off at the party afterwards right away. I've actually been drawing him all of this time, but he was not interested in being photographed initially, and later, in being posted on my website. But I am persuasive, and he changed his mind just today, so here are the latest photos from our drawing session. I am working on an erotic Academy of a young voyeur watching another couple in the woods, perhaps skinny dipping or making love. They will all be nude of course. Anyway, its a new experiment for me, and is actually a small scale experiment for a new project I am working on (a series of finely rendered Academies based on the lyrics from Carmina Burana, which is actually a commission). I'm not exactly sure how I am going to sell it afterwards, since it is frankly sexual and I can no longer sell such drawings through my usual routes. But I will figure out a way to make them available to you. And finally, here is the model posing below, while I work on his torso.
