Felix D'Eon Diary ~Grandpa's Swimsuit 2 August, 2007 |
First, I had Ben get in the pose while nude - I find it is easier to draw clothed figures if I first draw their nude form, as the clothes conceal the form and can confuse my sense of proportion.
Afterwards, I had Ben put the swimsuit on and I drew the swimsuit over the nude figure which I had already roughed in. Below, you can see Ben resting in a window during a break.
Ben was the model scheduled for the morning, and Jamal for the afternoon - they overlapped by a few minutes, and with my friend Dot, we had a quick photoshoot with the two of them together. One of the photos follows below.
