Gregoire came
by today for some drawings; we have had numerous missed connections
over the past several months, so it was with great joy that we
finally saw each other today. He is as cute as ever, with a new
shorn haircut, and is newly in love, and had the glowing attitude
to prove it. I will be drawing him with his new boyfriend this
weekend - it will be fun, and I am curious to meet him.
Anyway, I
wasn't sure what to do today, so I went through I file I have
of drawings and paintings of old masters to give me ideas, and
I came across the drawing below

I don't know
who the artist was, but I was captivated by the idea, and so had
Gregoire pose as a faun, inspired by both the drawing and memories
of Debussy and L'après-midi d'un faune. The photos that
follow were taken during breaks - the drawings I did follow at
the end.

Below are
the two drawings, which I love. They did not fit in the scanner,
so the feet of the faun are cut off in both of them, but they
should give you an idea.

My assistant
will be posting them soon!
