I drew James
again today, with great pleasure. He was one of my favorite models
about a year ago, but he found a job at a bike store in Oakland,
and was so busy he had no time to model for me any more. We saw
each other at parties and such, but I thought I would never draw
him again. But to my great joy, he quit his old job, got a new
one as a bike messanger (which is more his passion), and has the
time to model again. But only for a little while - at the end
of the summer he's moving to Dublin, so expect to see lots of
him in the next few months, as I will draw and draw him while
I can. Today, I continued with my rowing theme, and I also did
a small reclining painting. The drawings will be posted soon.
In the meantime, enjoy the photos of my beautiful friend James,
Felix.

Here I am working on his painting, in my living room.

Above, James is weighing himself during a break from painting,
and below, in some rowing poses.

The drawing above is one of the rowing pictures I did this afternoon.
Below, James is looking on the internet to show me the crew boat,
as he was on Crew when in college. We found a picture, and replaced
the fully dressed crewman with a nude James, while using the setting
(the boat and water) to complete the picture.

And above, James is looking at the painting I had done earlier
that evening in the studio.
