This card is the Page of Hearts, which corresponds to the Page of Cups in the standard tarot. A young Tlaloque, one of the celestial servants of the rain god Tlaloc, stands on a cloud. He is dressed in marine blues, and in the insignia of his maser and lord, the King of Hearts. He holds a bleeding heart in one hand, and on his shoulder a jade jar, from which fall perfumed and jeweled waters. On the clouds around him sit three more jars, in black, red, red, and yellow. Thus, the four jars symbolize the colors of the four directions. Their are four Tlaloque, and each has charge of a jar of water, which they pour from the sky and which falls as rain. The water from each jar has its own unique properties, either positive or negative. The green jade jar of the East is the most beneficient of the four. From it fall the gentle rains of spring, the fructifying rains which bring abundance to men.
This card refers to a fair young man, of studious aspect, who will help and render service to the querent. He bears a message, and councils reflection and introspection in the tasks which face us. Inverted, the card speaks of seduction by a lying and deceptive boy.
