This card is the King of Flints, which corresponds to the King of Swords in the standard Tarot. The card represents Itztlacoliuhqui-Ixquimilli, the god of Justice, Stone and Cold in the Aztec pantheon. He holds a flint to his breast, and is blindfolded as the god of justice, his body painted white as a god of cold and death. His throne is decorated with obsidian blades and butterflies, for this card is also the sign of Air, and the butterfly for the Aztecs was a creature associated with paradise and the heavens, but also with warfare and death. This card represents power, command, authority, law, and justice.
