I recently started drawing a new model - he is a young Mexican man who was standing on the corner near my house hussling for construction work jobs. I passed him as I was walking to the neighborhood taqueria, and thought he was really to pretty for words, so on the way back I asked if he would be interested in modeling for a portrait. Once I got him home, though, he was only to eager to shuck out of his clothes. I was having a bad drawing day, and my first two attempts came out terribly, so I had him turn his back and started a little oil on paper, just to do something different, and shock myself into a better drawing mood. I really like the result. He'll be coming back tonight for a photoshoot and more drawings, so expect another entry soon,
