Felix D'Eon Diary ~ Dressing for a Costume Party February, 2008 |
|
My boyfriend Leif, Marcelito, and I were invited to a costume party the other night; my love of all things greek took ahold of us, and I dressed Leif and I in the sheerest greek tunics, very short, with jewels in our hair and otherwise nude, and Marcelito in nothing but a leopard skin and a grape leave wreath on his head (he wanted to go as bacchus - an always full glass of wine being the only prop he would need). The party was really fun. It quickly developed into something of an orgy downstairs, with fauns, presidents, superheroes, godlings and all manner of beautiful creatures tossed into a tangle of limbs, flashing jewels, and brightly colored fabrics in the darkand and penumbrous light below. I wish I could have taken photographs to share with you - Leif looked so lovely among the boys, and the sight of him making love to a young man dressed as an aviator, who had by that time lost everything but the goggles which he had pushed back on his head, was quite breathtaking - and it was no less breathtaking to join them. In the sensory haze of the experience I remember seeing Marcelito dancing nimbly through the boys stretched out all across the floor, erect and joyous, the tale of his leopard skin trailing out behind him. It was a beautiful experience, and waking up with Leif in the morning (and the aviator boy!) even more so. Here are some photos taken from earlier in the day, when we were trying on the outfits for the evening,
