To all my friends,
Leif, my boyfriend, went traveling through Southeast Asia for several
months, no doubt sampling the local delicacies (and boys) on his exotic
travels. But he is back! And I am endlessly delighted. I started a
drawing of him right away, which will probably not be for sale, although
I will put up a print of it. It is wonderful to have him home, and
I am in endless transports of joy. For the last several days we have
done nothing but paint (well, maybe we’ve done only a little
actual painting – but we have found other delightful ways to
occupy our time). Here are some photos taken today of the drawing
as it nears completion,
