Diary ~Drawing Rob as a Wrestler

August, 2006

 

Rob came by to model today for some pastel paintings; I called him before he came over, and asked what kinds of sporty clothes he had, and luckily, he showed up with a whole bag of wonderful things. I thought the jock strap and wrestling singlet were the hottest, so I drew him in those, in two fairly long poses, one from behind and one from the front. Two photos of myself drawing him follow below.

The two drawings are shown below - they will be cropped down later so that they fit the page better, and will then be posted on this website. I especially love the figure facing forward - he didn't have the head gear, so I found a photo of a boy in some on the internet, and used that as the model for his head piece.
