The painting with Joey continues below. Since I started this painting late I am not going to describe it step by step, but you can see the evolution in the photographs. I will be starting a new pastel of another model next week, and will chart that once from beginning to end.
The finished painting appears above. My assistant accidentally mis-titled the piece in the gallery – it should be called “Sunrise at Black-Sands Beach,” since it makes no sense to be applying sunblock at sundown. In any case, the painting came out beautifully. Click below to purchase this piece,
