Diary ~ Drawing the male nude with JR#1

JR came by to model for some small male nudes tonight; we had a great night, and did some beautiful drawings. Below are some photographs the evening,

I had JR bring a bunch of costume elements - belts and jewelry, mostly. In the photos above and below, he is wearing a large belt with silver loops, which was a great element to draw.

I also drew him wearing a gas mask and military belt. The drawing didn't turn out so well (every so often, that happens - its the challenge of drawing from life) but I liked the concept and will be using him with his gas mask again soon. I am thinking of doing some erotic drawings of him in that theme, actually.

Below you can see him the the military belt with the gas mask off. The small costume elements give the pieces an extra frission, I think, and give a subtle erotic appeal to the male nude.

Finally, JR can be seen below getting dressed again at the end of the evening.
